Earlier this month when it was announced that the President was tapping Austan Goolsbee to serve as chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors, I cheered the selection, writing, "This position isn't about messaging -- but messaging is important." A video released by the administration featuring Goolsbee talking taxes gives a good idea of what I was getting at:
