GOP Polling Puts Harry Reid Up 5 Points

Jon Ralston has the details of the latest polling out of the Nevada Senate election from GOP pollster Public Opinion Strategies:

Reid the Elder is up 45-40 over Sharron Angle

The Pollster.com trend estimate shows a continuing close race between Harry Reid and Sharron Angle. Some might say this indicates Angle is in a good position, considering that Reid hasn't put her away. On the other hand -- and this is how the race looks from this vantage -- the fact that Reid continues to lead (albeit by a narrow margin) is nothing short of remarkable considering the Beltway press's rush to write him off not all that long ago.
