Polising Featured on TheHill.com

This week I was asked to participate in The Hill newspaper's blogger face-off. The topic: whether the surprise Tea Party candidates -- Christine O'Donnell, Sharron Angle, Joe Miller -- were a fluke, or the future of the GOP. Here's my take, which runs under the headline "Tea Party just the old base with a new branding."
The Tea Party is here to stay. But not necessarily because it's a new phenomenon that is changing the face of American politics. No, the movement -- and the candidates it has supported -- will continue to endure because they have always been a part of the GOP: the party's base. Now they just have a new name and a new branding.
