"Rand Paul is Off the Wall"

Jack Conway pulls no punches:

The "Rand Paul is off the wall" comment is pretty classic -- and it definitely sums up what the Conway camp is trying to get at: While you (the voter) may be conservative and want to vote for a Republican, Paul is simply too extreme. The $2,000 Medicare deductible is a perfect example of this, and it is perfectly targeted at the elderly, exactly the type of conservative would-be Republican voters who will be going to the polls in November.

This is a tight race, one that the Democrats have a real shot at despite the conservative leanings of the Kentucky electorate. With ads like this from Conway, the Democrats may just pull this one out.

  1. PolitiFact deemed Conway's last attack ad against Rand Paul to be 'FALSE'. I wonder if they will do the same to this as it gives no mention of an income threshold nor that this is one of many approaches being examined by a bipartisan group in DC, which is where the ultimate solution will come from.

Rand Paul is the adult in the room. Everyone knows there will be NOTHING if medicare is not fixed.
