A remarkably poor debate performance from Arizona's Republican Governor Jan Brewer, who consistently trailed in her bid for a full term in office before latching on to the immigration issue.
The only comparable train wreck of a debate performance I can recall from recent memory came from New Mexico's Patsy Madrid, the Democratic Attorney General who looked set to defeat Republican Congresswoman Heather Wilson in 2006 before this happened:
Can Brewer recover where Madrid was unable to? Polls (mostly from Rasmussen) have her up by more than 20 points right now. But I have a feeling we may see some movement -- and soon -- from the Arizona Governor race.
